David Gulpilil performs three Aboriginal dances, Emu, Kangaroo and Fish. The first two are solo performances by Gulpilil and are closer to mime than dance. The third is a group dance with some of the children from Bamyili where Gulpilil lives in the Northern Territory.

An hour-long documentary on the life and career of actor David Gulpilil.

A powerful record of grief, community and ceremony in which the renowned Indigenous actor is laid to rest on his Homeland of Gupulul in Arnhem Land, NT. A Yolŋu man, David Gulpilil lived a traditional life in the Arafura Swamp before being cast at age 16 in his first film, Walkabout, in 1971. He became an industry trailblazer, always navigating two worlds – although his Yolŋu culture was rarely in the spotlight. Before his death in 2021, Gulpilil’s family promised to lay him to rest at his birthplace of Gulpulul, and guide his spirit back to a sacred waterhole known as Marawuyu. This would prove an epic journey involving planes, boats and helicopters, and months of waiting for the right seasonal conditions. It's the remarkable final chapter of his incredible story, as narrated by Hugh Jackman and cultural storyteller Baker Boy and skilfully chronicled by co-directors Maggie Miles and Trisha Morton-Thomas.

The best dancers of the country will once again take to the stage on the TNT TV channel along with the start of the New Dances show. Now there will be no mentors and their teams, but only face-to-face dance fights between participants in four categories: solo, duets, children and teams. More than 400 people or 144 creative units passed the selection in four categories. They will determine the best of the best in a fundamentally new format - in a face-to-face battle: the loser immediately leaves the project, the winner moves on. The prize fund of the project is 10 million rubles. The main persons of the new project will be those with whom the word “dancing” has been associated for the last 7 years: Miguel, Lyaysan Utyasheva, Ulyana Pylaeva and other heroes loved by the audience. Each issue has a new star jury, which includes both professionals from the dance industry and those who do not distinguish between crump and locking.
